Get ready to get hands-on! In this practical body butter workshop, you’ll learn how to transform a selection of nourishing butters and oils into a beautifully textured body butter with the right consistency, feel, fragrance, and finish.
This is not a demonstration where you simply watch. You’ll be making your own body butters, facial moisturisers and lip balm/butters- from start to finish, with guidance throughout the process.
Here's what you'll learn in this revealing workshop:
- The major differences between anhydrous butters and emulsions.. so that you understand which is better for your target customer.
- How to select the best fixed oils and butters, so your final product has a silky luxurious feel.
- How to select ingredients that make a butter luxurious and effective.
- How to include fragrances so that your end product is irresistible yet still safe and healthy
- The difference between anti-oxidation and preservation so that you don't fall into this common misconception.
- How to make PH friendly products and why this is important.
- What are the guidelines for testing your final product.
This workshop has a theoretical component so you understand conceptually the creation. of body butters for sale (or for personal use)
This workshop has a guided practical component, because you learn by doing. We;ll make all products named.
All raw materials will be provided for this workshop. Additional starter Kits will be sold on Workshop day (great for gifts)
Additional fragrances for Body Butters will also be sold on workshop day.
