50 Handmade Soaps- Made in the Caribbean

In this new (next generation) interactive, online course, we'll explore the creation of 50 different handmade soaps, inspired by the Caribbean. 

In the Region we have a diverse array of ingredients open to us- many of them unexplored in the soap making world. We have very different ambient temperatures and often high humidity. Of course, we have our own peculiar challenges too.

All of these things affect our soap making projects and in this course, we aim to explore this skill, our way.

Over the course of the next few months, we will create 50 different soaps. As a participant, you'll receive access to all the recipes and all the videos. We'll begin creating in March 2026 and complete all 50 recipes by August 2026.

You work at your own pace by accessing uploaded videos and related recipes, tips and tricks. 

From March 31st to August 31st, you'll be able to access videos, recipes and lessons for each soap type. Make 1, 2 or all 50 soaps.  Download and keep each recipe sheet. (you will not be able to download the videos). 

Access to this course for all participants will run from March until December 2026. This gives all participants more than enough time to access all 50 projects.

Here are the soap categories for this online course,

Module 1: Beginner Friendly

5 simple handmade soap projects made with beginners in mind. Learn how to safely handle lye and how to correctly use it to turn oils into healthy soaps.

Module 2: True Caribbean

5 soaps made using ingredients from the Caribbean. Think fresh avocados, toasted coconut, bananas, rum and honey!

Module 3: Milky Bubbles

5 soaps made with cow's milk, goat's milk, coconut milk. Note : We DO NOT create a lye solution with milk. We safely incorporate milk for additional moisturising in the bath.

Module 4: Artistic

10 soaps that include intricate design elements in the final bar. The use of colour, swirls, embeds and layering. Challenge yourself to more advanced techniques.

Module 5: Pure Caribbean Botanicals

10 therapeutic bars made with infused oils and traditional Caribbean Bush therapy.

Module 6: Foodie

5 soaps influenced by Caribbean fruit, drinks and dessert. Think Pina Coladas and Rum Cake!

Module 7: Mixed Media

Called this because we mix traditional Cold Processed bars with Hot Process and even Melt and Pour to create unique, original soaps. (5 soaps)

Module 8: Buttery Beauties

5 smooth, creamy soaps created with luxury butters including coffee butter, avocado butter and our own, pure, prime pressed cocoa butter.

Note that modules may not be presented in any specific order. Soaps from Module 8 and Module 1 may be presented in the same week. 

Start creating more exciting (but still healthy) soap bars that are all beautiful. Get tips on formulation. Our final bars will be unique and truly Caribbean.
