Recently, at Scents of Tobago we have launched very useful apps that aim to solve major problems that our customers experience as they create skin care businesses.
It is time, if you've not yet subscribed to any of them, to take a quick tour of each one. Two of these apps are paid subscriptions, but the third is free. It should be noted that we are leading up to the launch of our MarketPlace. (Market Street) . Market Street is a curated virtual market for all Scents of Tobago customers and indeed, any creative who is doing excellent work, but needs a platform to showcase and sell.
Here's a quick, virtual tour of Isla, our main app..
The Isla App:
Isla is a our major app and intended for the creative, who is in the stage of developing a skin care product line. You are still getting comfortable with the making process and have not yet developed a range of products that will form the bread and butter of your business. Isla is also for the seasoned maker, who needs to be a part of a wider community within an app that offers support.
- Isla houses all our recipes. Recipes and e books are transitioning out of the main website. Soon, the app will be the only place where recipes can be accessed. In addition to our E books, Isla features new recipes and projects.

2. Isla generates the information for your labels- Each recipe has a generated, compliant label information that you can use on your own labels. INCI names are provided. You can also ask Dan, our AI superagent for the INCI for ingredients if you do not see an INCI listed.

3. Isla allows you to customise label templates in the studio. Need a quick, cute label? We're always adding to the template Library.

4. Isla allows you to build your own recipe journal. If you like a recipe, add it to your favourites, so that it saves in your private journal. Keep notes if you try the recipe and upload pictures of your own projects in this customised journal accessible only by you. The journal allows you to see your progress and gives you a gauge for readiness to the next stage of your business..
5 Q-Rate your work. The Q-Rate Board allows all our users to showcase their finished projects as a way to inspire others and for you, the maker to step out of your comfort zone to share ideas, designs, challenges and more. It is the Q-Rate Board that connects the community so we can see the work (triumphs and challenges) of other makers in our community.

6 Earn Pearls- Our Reward system. Every meaningful action on Isla (and outside) earns rewards. These rewards are called pearls. Your Pearl stash has no expiration. Once you've gained 3000 pearls, you earn $USD25- cash! (Paid in your currency). There are so many ways to earn Pearls: Post on the Q-Rate Board, finished projects, using recipes from Isla; Tag Scents of Tobago on social media; Refer an app subscriber- these are just a few ways to gain pearls.

7. Use the TAG app- TAG is an app within Isla that guides the pricing of your handmade product- often a daunting task for creatives. Input your raw materials and their prices, let TAG work out for you, how much a specific recipe costs per unit. Decide on your mark up level and get suggested prices returned to you. TAG is for the creative who hates Math or prefers not to use energy in that way,

Isla gives you amazing value for money and draws you into a community with a soft touch.
As an Isla subscriber, you'll get first preference to the Isla Marketplace (Market Street). An Online Marketplace for curated handmade products. It's coming in September.
