Scents of Tobago has a mission to share information on the creation of healthy Bath and Body products. While we aim to empower Caribbean creatives, anyone can benefit from the information shared.
We do recognise, however, that the Caribbean has its own circumstances that allow us, who live here, to create different products from what may be the norm in temperate settings.
Cultural norms may also colour what we find desirable or not. It is recognised, that the Caribbean has its own traditions of skin care and its own rituals attached to bathing which are not recognised outside the Region (obviously).
For this reason, it is vitally important that the Caribbean Creative has a voice and a presence in the Online space. It allows us to be seen and heard. It also allows us to take ownership of our Caribbean-ness in a world which has Disneyfied what being Caribbean means.
Through our projects, ebooks and e courses, creatives benefit from using raw materials that are familiar to us ; we benefit from creating skin care that can assist with the skin challenges which we experience here in the Region.

WHO IS LISA-MARIE GRIFFITH?
Lisa-Marie Griffith is the founder of Scents of Tobago. She resides on the island of Tobago where there is inspiration for many finished products of the Scents of Tobago Collections.
Lisa-Marie is an experienced teacher, formulator and creator of skin care brands in the Region. She has formulated for emerging brands throughout the Caribbean and has coached brand owners to launching their Collections.
While physical workshops hosted by Lisa Marie Griffith have contracted in recent months, she continues to coach, formulate, write books and lead e courses.
