Saponify! A Tobago in store event for teenagers

Come get an introduction to the art and science of creating beautiful, handcrafted soaps. This is a mini workshop in which we show all our teen participants the fundamentals of creating soaps.

This mini workshop is intended to demystify the process of creation with the benefit of Live Instruction from an experienced soap maker/ teacher. While YouTube provides a wealth of information, there is absolutely no substitute for Live instruction.

We will:

• Create both Cold Process and Melt and Pour bars, so you see the benefits and challenges of both methods
• Take a look at the typical raw materials and must have tools if you intend to pursue the craft.
• Identify business approaches you can use if you want to start a business.
• Provide a listing of reliable suppliers of raw materials.
